Good post – especially like the warnings, be careful with some of these free proxies, they can cause you a lot of problems. The main problem I suspect most people will find is that in schools or work the proxy settings are not accessible. The are either limited to administrators or locked by Group policy. There are some ways around this but perhaps the simplest is either the translate proxy trick mentioned above or to install another browser. Often teh restrictions will only be set up for IE so if you are able to install say Chrome then you should be able to modify the LAN connection settings.

It’s not that is slowing a little bit my Internet connection but sometimes it freezes my computer:(. Last month i found a very good software http://www.privacy-pro.com but it only has 3 day trial and i didn’t bought it. Don’t know what to do, because i tried many others and didn’t worked for me. :(
