CamStudio – Free Screen Recording Software

Have you facing any trouble in looking for best screen recording software for your project or tutorial? Well, I also have facing that problem. There’s a lot of screen recorder in the net right now whether the free one or the paid one (which also cost you hundreds dollar). Of course there’s a FREE one, but a lot of them keeping their watermark on your video until you upgrade to the paid one. Not cool right? And for the paid one like Camtasia, it really cost high for an average joe like me. So, I have an alternative for this.

Remember my old post about “How to download songs from myspace without any software“? I have make a video tutorial for that post. I was trying to use Camtasia for that video, but things go miserable since my camtasia is the cracked version one. So, I browse along youtube and looking at other people video tutorial perhaps they include the name of software they use. Guess, what i found the best one. The best free screen recording software ever !!

The software called CamStudio (Camtasia?? Camstudio?? lmao). Yeah, it is free and have a lot of function to be used for a better screen recording for your web tutorial or any project that need you to capture a video of things you do on computer. It also come with settings that can make your video compatible with youtube in better version. Mine was sucks in youtube since I didn’t adjust the settings. You can browse on youtube for the tutorial. There’s a lot of them already.

See, the video quality are really good although you were not viewing it in high quality mode. Eh, how suppose he record using camstudio if he’s using it for tutorial? It must be Camtasia. Well, Camtasia still rock out for video capturing & editing! Haha. But atleast this cool screen recording software is FREE!

Some short synopsis about this movie:

Teenage movie “KAMI” follows a group of five friends as they squeeze in as much fun and reckless abandonment on their road to self-discovery before entering a new stage in their lives – higher education.

Lynn is a form five student who juggles her studies while helping her mother at their food stall and hangs out with Ali,Abu, Sofie, and Adii. Although they have made her part of their circle, Lynn is holding back a dark past from her buddies. Unknown to them Lynn and her mother had moved from their small town home to start afresh in the city away from a persistent small-time drug dealer, Boy, whom Lynn used to run errands for to gain extra pocket money.

To complicate matters, Lynn writes under the pseudonym Teka Teki for her own, well known fanzine called KAMI and has recently contributed a scathing write-up on Ali’s band in a local music magazine.

As she struggles to keep her secrets under wraps, Lynn soon learns that they are all hiding something from each other.

I just found this band yesterday. And yes, this band is fucking AWESOME! I started to fall in love with this band because of that “I Saw her Face” song. Listen to the player above. I doubt you may fall in love with it. Especially on the chorus part.

Gosh, Damn awesome. I dont really know what genre this band played. Because i am kinda confused with this two genre which is screamo & hardcore music. Because both of them need the band to scream. Hehe. But i prefer to classified this band as post-hardcore. Because they doesnt really go as hard as normal hardcore band. They have a cool dress up too. ROFL. Hey, the vocalist also can sing very well. It reminds me a bit to Secondhand Serenade. tee-hee.

Hujan get fcuked in JB

I got this new yesterday from AzizulHakim at my Indiemusik blog. Im not gonna blog about this fuking thing at my indiemusik blog because this is a really fuked up & embrassing matter to our local ndependent music industry. This thing was happen on Art of Noise Fest in Johor Bahru last Saturday (19/4/08). As far as i know, there’s 17 bands will perform that day including HUJAN.

Hujan only performed one song for that day which is “AKU SCANDAL” from check2rock2 EP. But amazingly, some of the crowd going wild and showed up their middle finger which known resembaled for word “F*CK!”. Not enough by showing their middle finger, they also keep shouting and yelling “FCUK YOU!” from beginning to the end of “AkuScandal” song. You can see clearly their fagg0t act at the video below:

Embrassing right? They also keep showing up the official t-shirt of Hujan which already modifiede into “HUJANjing” which meant “Hujan Anjing”. Wtf?.
I follow the comments that is appeared at Little Miss Eezah blog which began popular after that incident because she/he is the first one that blogged about this thing. From what i know, this things happen because of some missconflict between Hujan vocalist which is Noh Salleh that has made a clear announcement about sensitive issues on gay and homo people at a gig in MMU Melaka last year according to one of this post from RiceCooker. It is something like this:

“aah yang lembut lembut tu boleh keluar tk pyh tgk gig kitorang ekk”, Noh HUJAN.

Sort of something like that. Just read the comment at Little Miss Ezzah blog. For me, i am a homophobic (phobia of the homo people) too. I have already known about this anti-Hujan community quite a long time ago. Hentikan lah oke ! Read this.

Actually this is a small community that dislikes Hujan band just because Hujan is a homophobic band. They do have a myspace account a long time ago but then it’s already disappeared maybe because somebody already report about it. Just visit this.

Some of them say that Hujan already become too arrogont and high-demanding band. Im not really sure about this. But just dont give a fcuk about this. Yes, i am one of Hujan fanatic or so-called Raingers because i am supporting our local music industry. Let support our small local scene. Dont be a slave, let’s free out yourself from other. Kalau tak sampai bila nak maju. Lu pikir lah sendiri!!

Lol. I found this news buzz through one of Malaysia Hardcore Music blog, ricecooker.kerbau.com. Ofcourse this is one of the hottest issued in cyber world right now espcially in Myspace where every emo kids need to have one account there. Haha. Riot police protects emo’s kids? ROFL.

Riot police have taken to the streets of several cities in Mexico to … defend emo kids?

A series of attacks on dyed-hair, eye-makeup-wearing emo kids began in early March when several hundred people went on an emo-beating rampage in Querétaro, a town of 1.5 million about 160 miles north of Mexico City.

The next week, shaggy-haired emo teenagers were harassed again by punks and rockabillys in the capital, prompting police protection and a segment on the TV news. Most recently, a Mexican newspaper reported that metal heads and gangsters have warned Tijuana’s emo kids to stay away from the town’s fair next month.

But the so-called emos are organizing, too. Last week, they demonstrated against the violence, pictured above, and Wednesday some met with police in Mexico City.

There’s a bit misunderstood between the punkers and emos. And they start a fight just because punk claim that emo steal their music & a bit of their style? Hoho. But it is fun to watch them fighting. LMAO. But why the Riot police protects the emo kids uhh?

Granted, it’s kind of a dog bites man story, because, face it, who hasn’t wanted to smack an emo around? And for the emos, it’s really a win-win because that’s one more thing to be miserable about. Even if i have chance, i want to smack the emo kids too. Haha. And that will make them more EMO-Ko-Ko. Cheer up emo kids.
