Tumblr “Ask” widget is really great functions that had been introduced by Tumblr. Its enable anyone to ask or submit questions to a Tumblr blog owner. It is such an awesome widget which work like just Formspring. But, have you ever wonder to add Tumblr Ask widget to any place of your blog? Yes, you can add this Tumblr Ask widgets to any where in your blog.

First of all, make sure you had already enable the “Tumblr Ask” functions in your Tumblr account. To do this, go to Customize and click on Community tab. Scroll down and tick on “Let people ask questions” to activate your Tumblr Ask functions.

Now you can easily access your Tumblr Ask page at your-url.tumblr.com/ask. But that is not what we wanted to do here, we wanted to add the Tumblr Ask widget itself to any place in our blog. To that is simple, just copy the code below:

Search for “your-url.tumblr.com” in the Tumblr Ask widgets codes that you had copied, and change it to your own Tumblr blog url. Incase you’re using custom domain like me, just changed it to your domain name, for example, hellosyuxx.com.

You can add that code for the Tumblr Ask widgets anywhere in your Tumblr blog or at other blog/websites that you have. For example, like mine below:
