How To Find A Website IP Address & It’s Neighborhood Sites?

To find a website IP address and the it’s neighborhood website is a really useful skills especially when you are doing some research about some website. For example, you wanted to know what is the other blog that own by this website owner or maybe you wanted to know how many websites is sharing a server with your website. It is really easy tho, to find a website IP address and it’s neighborhood site. Follow the tutorial below if you wanted to know how to find a website IP address & it’s neighborhood sites.

First of all, you have to do website reverse IP look-up to find the website IP address. I always use this website online service, iWebtool to do it. Just go to iWebtool to find the website IP address.

Insert the website url in the form to find the website IP address. But make sure you don’t include the http:// in the website address. For example, my blog url is thumlog.com. Then click go.

After that, copy the website IP address given. Mine for example is 202.190.179.27.

After we have the reverse IP address of the website domain name, we can search for the website’s neighborhood sites. To do that, you can use this free service by WebsiteNeighbors to find a website’s neighborhood sites.

Paste the reverse IP address that we have did before on the form and click look up to check the website’s neighborhood sites.

Then, you will be given a full lists of the website’s IP neighborhood, which is the websites that been hosted under the same server with your websites.

Why is it important to look up for your website neighborhood? Well, I usually do it to make sure that the hosting service that I currently did not cramped too many website under one server which could cause harm for your website or blog uptime.

It is also bad for your website SEO if there are inappropriate websites hosted together with your website under a same IP address. They can be websites infected with viruses, porno and gambling related etc that had been banned and blacklisted by search engine such as Google.

So, it is good for you to find your website IP address or other people website IP address and look up for their neighborhood websites. Especially if you wanted to do some research about your competitors websites.

Tumblr is one of great microblogging site that we have out there. The simplicity of using it, attract many people to sign up and have one Tumblr account. You also can freely customize your Tumblr the way you want. But, could you create your own custom Tumblr theme? Yes, it is possible for you to create your own custom Tumblr theme. After you have the complete structure and working HTML site, now it is time to insert the Tumblr loop code to create your own custom Tumblr theme. If you were familiar with creating WordPress theme, then creating your own custom Tumblr theme is the same way. Just insert the Tumblr loop code into the HTML that you have created before. How To Block Facebook From Your Computer?

Facebook is a really great social networking site. It even ranked as the top ten famous website visited by people from around the world everyday according to Alexa. But Facebook sometimes can reduce your productivity as you can easily addicted to it. So, the easiest way to cope with this problems is by blocking your computer from accessing Facebook.

This is a really easy tutorial for you to follow. First, go to your computer Start button > All programs > Accessories > Command Prompt.

Then, write this command line on your command prompt interface to block Facebook from your computer.

notepad C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Then, a notepad will appeared. All you have to do now is to copy and paste the following codes into notepad to block Facebook from your computer. Just paste this code that will block Facebook from your computer:

Then close the notepad and click save. Now try to refresh your web browsers, and Facebook will be appeared as unavailable since we have already block the computer from accessing the web address. You also can use this trick to block your computer from accessing other website.

In case you wanted to login back to Facebook, all you have to do is delete back all the codes above and your computer will be able to access Facebook web address again.

How To Block Facebook Pillow Fight Applications?

If you are one of the most famous social networking site user, which is Facebook I bet you might notice this applications called “Pillow Fight” which is really annoying. This is because it can automatically send a bulk comment to the all of your friend lists. This is kinda annoying especially when you have more than 1k friends in Facebook (heh, it is normal to have more friends in social networking site. lol). Well, instead of cursing about it in your facebook status, I have found a solutions to block this Pillow Fight application from posting to your Facebook wall.

First, login to your Facebook account (hey, of course you need to login first). Then, to block the pillow fight applications, go to the Pillow Fight Applications Official Pages using this URL: http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=7068221435.

Then, take a look at the bottom of the “Suggest to friends” (heh, only noobs will suggest this spammy apps to their friends. haha) text links. There is a text links called “Block Applications”. Click it to block the pillow fights from posting to your facebook wall.

Now, you have already block the Facebook pillow fight apllications. Seriously, this apps is so annoying since it is flooding my Facebook wall pages. You also can do the same things to other Facebook applications that annoy you. Just go to their official site and click on that Block Applications links.

p/s: But for me, the easier way to do it is just by removing the persons from my friend lists. Unless the person is someone that I reall know or a cute girl (duh! lol), I will do the above things. Haha.

How to remove “News Feed & Live Feed” on Facebook Homepage

Recently, Facebook had just introduced their new homepage with “News Feed & Live Feed” to replace their old homepage design. It is really awesome to have a change and it is cool for people who love new things. But sometimes, the new facebook homepage design is so annoying since you can’t follow your friends latest status update and etc just like the previous one. But, I have found a similar way to return your Facebook Homepage to the old one although it is not really similar with the old Facebook homepage.

All you have to do is log in to your Facebook account. Now, on the top of the page, take a look on your left sidebar. Click the button “more” under it.

Then, all you have to do is to drag the “Status Update” button to the top replacing the “News Feed”. The scroll down to the sidebar list, and click “less” to save the option you’ve choose.

Then, you will have the old facebook homepage status update of your friendlists. To update your status, just click on the “Update Status” button incase you are new to Facebook.

To be true, I don’t really like the new facebook homepage style. The old one still kicking ass! Haha. But just like the “I AUTOMATICALLY HATE THE NEW FACEBOOK HOME PAGE” group description:

Today I would to share with all of you a tutorial that might be useful for anyone in here that active in foruming. Have you ever faced a situation where you need to everyday open up the same forum thread to see whether there is an update post reply or not in that forum? Well, that might be wasting your time if you open up it everyday but there is no update in it right? So, why not doing something smart about it right? So, today I would to share with you a tips and tutorial on How to Subscribe to a Forum Post or Thread.

Firstly, this tutorial just focused on VBulletin Forum CMS based forum community. You can easily detected a VBulettin forum by check out at their forum footer. Ok, lets get start right now. For this tutorial, I am going to used the famous Digital Points Forum as an example how to do this.

First, go to any thread or post in that forum. For example, I am about to subscribe to this post called “What is your search engine optimization strategy?” and all the updates in this forum will be send through my email.

Go to the top of the post thread, and click on the Thread Tools button. And then, click on “Subscribe to This Thread” link.

And then, you will be forwarding to the below page. Now, on the notifications type select instant notifications. So, when there is someone replying to that thread the forum will automatically send you an updates about the latest post on that forum thread.

Now, when someone replying to your thread you will automatically receive an e-mail notifications about it in your email just like below example.

Well, this is really useful especially when you posted something like a poll, survey or even to get a feedback about certain products that you have posted in a forum. This is also useful if you were making a sales on your products in a forum. Well, this is the basics of forum marketing. Or else, use this tutorial to subcribe to a thread that started by your crush or any cute girls in that forum. Hehe

How to get on Facebook at school? Here is the solution

Facebook is a really great social networking site. They had grow rapidly through each year. Commonly, Facebook is a really famous social networking site that usually used by the students. But a lot of kids in the school complaining that they can’t access Facebook in the school. So, here is some of tips on How to get on facebook at school.

Firstly, why did you can’t get on Facebook at school? This is because most of the school that have wireless connection forbid their students from get on Facebook at school. They block the wireless internet connections from accessing Facebook site. That is why you cant get on Facebook at school.

But there are always solution for this kind of problem. Many of the students already know how to get on Facebook at school although their school blocked them from accessing it. I have my own technique on how to get on Facebook at school.

My trick to get on Facebook at school is by using this free online tools from Google which is Google Translator. It do work really good at my school and now I can get on Facebook at my school using their free wireless internet connections.

Here’s the simple step on how to use this Google Translator to get on Facebook at school. First, go to Google Translator web page and you will see this page:

Type the Facebook url in the box and select other language at the left side option and choose english for the right side option. And then click on translate.

After that, you will be able to get on Facebook at school. After clicking translate, you will see this page:

Just login like usual and now you already can get on Facebook at school. But certain school that have much more high & strict security this trick also doesn’t work. You need something much more stronger to get on Facebook at school which is by using proxy site.

If you really wanted to get on Facebook at school, you should you proxy site to access it. Here is some of my favourite proxy directory list:

1. Privax – Protecting Online Privacy
2. Google CGI Proxy directory

Try to use any one of the proxy listed in that website and try to get on Facebook at school using it. But most of high school that have advanced Wireless Connection technology, they also blocked their students from accessing this proxy website. So, there is nothing you can do to get on Facebook at school. You only can get on Facebook at home or other places that doesn’t blocked Facebook.

How to get your blog indexed by Google faster?

Get your blog indexed by major search engine such as Google is really important especially if you were targeting on traffics from the search engine. Get your blog indexed by search engine such as google is one of the most important thing that you should learn to SEO your blog. By get indexing by Google, your article in the blog now can be show up in the search engine.

First of all, make sure you have read my “How to check if my blog already get index by google?” post before you read the above method.

1. Add you blog link to the social bookmarking site

There is a lot of social bookmarking in the internet right now. But, our target is to get our blog indexed by the search engine through social bookmarking. So, we choose some high PageRank (PR) social bookmarking site to submit our blog.

Why we need to add our blog to high PR social bookmarking site? This is because google spider frequently visits this high PR site looking for new content in it. So, once the google spider crawl to the website and found your blog link there, the Google Spider also will automatically crawl to your blog. When the Google Spider crawl to your blog, thats meant your blog is already started to be indexed by GOOGLE. Easy right?

But most people doesn’t know which high PR social bookmarking site should I choose? Here you go, Taufik Hidayat has share his List of High PR Social Bookmarking Site at WMTips.

2. Make a comment on Do-Follow blog

What is Do-Follow blog? Do-Follow blog is blog that already alters the rel=”nofollow” tag in their comment section. All you have to do is comment on that do-follow blog by including your blog link in the comment URL form. Once google come to that do-follow blog and found your blog link in the comment sections, it will automatically follow your blog and indexing your blog in the same time. Really easy right?

And just like submitting to social bookmarking site technique, you also need to make sure you comment on high PR do-follow blog. But, where I can found any do-follow blog? Here is some of my favourite Do-follow list and Do-follow blog directories:

And many more which you can find out thorugh google. Make sure you make a real comment and not just some spammy comments such as “That’s great”, “Thanks”, “Useful :)” and etc since this blog often use comment moderation to approve the comments. Don’t be lazy to read up the article first before you comment if you want your comment to be approved and get indexed by google faster in the same time.

3. Add your blog to Google Analytics Tool

This is one of the famous way to get your blog get index faster by Google. Google Analytics is a tool which is use to make analysis on your blog. By using this tool, you can easily observe everything that happen on your site.

How did this technique work? Well, during the registration of your blog to the Google Analytics, you need to add the meta url to your blog code to make sure your blog is approved. So, during that time Google Spider will automatically visit you site to find that meta url and automatically index your site.

Apart from just to get your blog index by google, this tool is really useful for other purposes to such as maintaining your blog. If you were using self-hosted wordpress blog, you can easily add Google Analytics code to your site using this plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress.

4. Make an article and submit it to article submission site

This trick already been used for many years and it still work well to get your blog index by google faster. I know that many of us doesn’t like to write an article and submit it to the article submission directory. But, believe me that this technique really work although it consume your time a bit.

You will not only get your blog index faster but google, but you also can get some instant traffics to your blog just by submitting some useful article to those Article Submission site.

Just like the another technique above, you still need to make sure that you submit your article to high PR list of Article Submission site. Here the top 10 high PR Free Article Submission from DollorShower.

But make sure that you hyperlink your blog address in the article and make sure that the article you were writing is in the same topic with the blog that you want to get the blog indexed faster by google.

Well, there are actually a lot more technique to get your blog index by google faster. But the top 4 above are my favourite and worked for most of my blog to get index faster by google.

How to check if my blog already get index by Google?

Get you blog index by Google is really important. If you were seek for blog traffics, this is a crucial step that you need to know. This is apart of SEO technique that blogger should learn especially for the newbies out there. SEO is another way to get traffics to your blog if you do it right. But make sure you know first whether your blog has been index by google or not. So, today I would to share an article about how to check whether your blog has been indexed by google or not?

To check your blog whether Google has indexed it or not, you need to follow the simple step above. First, go to google search page. Any country google search site also work. And then, in the search form, type the keyword shown in the image below:

Type that SITE:HTTP://YOURSITE.COM by replacing that yoursite.com with your own blog URL. And then click search. After that you will know whether your blog has been indexed by google or not.

If your blog has been index by Google, you can see some search result appear such as the below image. Thats meant that Google already index your blog.

And if your blog has not been indexed by google yet, you can see the following result appear when you search for your site.
